JD Moor

JD bought Eamor's Saddlery back in 1993. He loved the craft, he always took pride in what he was making. He took me under his wing to extend my skill and knowledge on the craft and art of saddle making. His mantra was "The combination of good leather and fine workmanship creates a thing of beauty, and a thing of beauty is a joy to behold forever. There is no substitute for quality."

Back in June of 2021 JD passed after having a long hard fight against cancer. He was a dear friend to many and will be dearly missed by many. He was a mentor  to many and always had time to have a conversation with whoever came into the shop.
